Let’s start with the basics - what is a TrueForm?
A TrueForm is a type of curved treadmill. It’s a non-motorized, concave device that allows users to walk and run on it with each foot strike propelling the belt behind them.
But… How does it work?
The TrueForms work through a mixture of gravity, friction and the forces of running. With each step you take, the foot and weight of the body pull the tread back to propel itself. Due to the curvature of the TrueForm, the center of mass is ahead of a normal treadmill and therefore gives a greater experience of on-ground running.
